Bike riding keeps both humans and the environment fit and healthy. Plus, when you go on a bike ride in the Richmond area, there's plenty of scenery to take in! Our real estate agents enjoy the sights around Richmond while riding a bike rented from one of these great RVA shops.
- Basket & Bike - 1301 E. Cary St., Richmond, VA 23219
In 2015, local resident Anne Poarch became fascinated with the discoveries she made riding through the streets near Richmond homes for sale. Inspired to share her experiences, Anne left a career in finance to open Basket & Bike. Their bike tours take you past incredible sights in downtown Richmond and on Jamestown Island, while their signature tour is a leisurely ride along the Virginia Capital Trail. The newest tour, Yoga & Ride, combines two great workouts in a stunning vineyard setting. Bike rentals start at $45 for a half-day, and tours start at $65.
- Kul Wheels - 1106 New Market Rd., Richmond, VA 23231
Find out why electric bikes offer "all the speed, all the fun, and less pedaling." Kul Wheels was founded by married couple Jody and Marna after their first experience with e-bikes while vacationing in Austin, TX. Despite 101-degree temperatures, the pair managed to avoid sore muscles and buckets of perspiration. In honor of Marna's ancestry, she and Jody named their shop "Kul" after the Swedish word for "fun." Rent an e-bike by the hour or day and follow your own route or register for one of Kul Wheels' scenic tours. Shop hours are 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Sunday, and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday.

Daily and weekly rates are also available. Adventures in RVA is open 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Friday through Sunday and by reservation only Monday through Thursday.

The Kickstand is located on the James River, making it a convenient jumping-off point for a variety of rides. Hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily by appointment only.
Besides having plenty of places to rent bikes and book tours, there are, of course, many bike trails to explore throughout the RVA.
